Paid the face of a die, with one optional second roll you must accept: keep 4–6, re-roll 1–3 → fair value 4.25. With two optional re-rolls it rises to 4.67.
Example
Threshold = value of continuing: a fresh roll is worth 3.5, so keep anything above 3.5.
