Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Tradecraft on tradecraftlearning.com: the website and the course app. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Tradecraft is an online course about financial markets, options and trading interviews, run from Switzerland. You can reach us at support@tradecraftlearning.com. In these terms, “Tradecraft”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Tradecraft, and “you” means the person using it.
2. What Tradecraft is, and what it isn’t
- Education only. Tradecraft explains concepts, vocabulary and methods. Nothing in it is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, a recommendation to buy or sell anything, or an offer of a financial product or service.
- Examples are illustrations. Prices, market levels, figures and scenarios in the course are simplified examples. They may be out of date, and despite our care the course may contain errors.
- No promised results. We don’t promise any outcome, such as passing an interview, getting a job or making money. If you trade or invest, you do so at your own risk; consider advice from a licensed professional.
- No affiliation. Tradecraft isn’t affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any bank, trading firm, exchange or employer mentioned in it. Names of companies and products belong to their owners.
3. Your account
- You need an account to use the course. Use an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account is for one person. Don’t share it or let others use it.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app. This deletes your account and your progress, and ends any active subscription straight away (see the Refund Policy).
4. Plans, payment and renewal
- Tradecraft is offered as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The price, in your currency, is shown before you pay.
- Paddle sells the subscription to you. Our online reseller and merchant of record is Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates). Paddle takes the payment, charges any applicable tax, sends receipts and invoices, and processes refunds. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, and is charged to your payment method until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time from the Account page in the app (“Manage subscription”), or by contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, the new price applies only from a later renewal, and we’ll tell you by email before it does, so you can cancel first.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may try again. If it can’t be collected, your access ends.
5. Using the course
- While your subscription is active, you may use Tradecraft for your own, personal learning. This right is personal and can’t be transferred.
- Please don’t copy, share, resell, publish or otherwise distribute the course content; don’t use automated tools to extract it; and don’t try to get around the access controls or the security of the service.
- The course content, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use them described here, these terms give you no rights to them.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example one that is shared or used to copy the course. We’ll tell you why, unless the law or a security reason prevents it.
6. Changes to the course
We update the course over time and may add, change or remove lessons, questions and features. If a change significantly reduces what your plan includes, you can cancel and ask us for a refund of the unused part of the period you’ve paid for.
7. Availability
We work to keep Tradecraft available and working, but we can’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors: maintenance and outages at our service providers can happen. The app lets you download a backup of your progress (Progress page).
8. If Tradecraft closes
If we decide to stop offering Tradecraft, we’ll tell subscribers by email in advance, stop all renewals, and refund the unused part of any period already paid for.
9. Liability
- We provide Tradecraft with reasonable care. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, trading or investment losses, or lost opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Tradecraft in the 12 months before the event that caused it.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Your rights as a consumer
If you use Tradecraft as a consumer, you keep all the rights that mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you. Nothing in these terms takes them away.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We’ll publish the new version on this page with its date, and tell subscribers by email about changes that affect them. If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel before it applies to you.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence.
