The most traded pair in BIS surveys: the price of one euro in US dollars. It moves on the Fed–ECB rate gap and the broad dollar (the euro is about 58% of DXY); desk nickname fiber.
Example
1.0850 → 1.0900 = euro up 50 pips, dollar down.
